It's the end of the year and people are starting to do their top films of the year list.

We're pleased to say that so far The Guardian has included MUTUAL APPRECIATION in its top 20 (#18) and The Times had all of our first three releases in its top 100 (no order). Jon Fortgang (reviews editor of Film Four) places FUNNY HA HA and REPRISE in his top 10 whilst Ryan Gilbey of the New Statesman put both of Andrew Bujalski's films in his top 10.

So to celebrate this and Christmas we're offering both of Bujalksi's DVDs, FUNNY HA HA and MUTUAL APPRECIATION in our shop for the combined price of £20.

A new movement in the indie film world. Let's call it Mumblecore..... well that's what Andrew Bujalski inadvertently did in an interview a couple of years back. Anyway the term has now been introduced over here, thanks to this splendid article in the Guardian Guide last weekend. Read it (CLICK HERE TO READ) and learn to love the mumble, mumble, mumble....

Watch our interview with Andrew Bujalski, the director of our first two releases, FUNNY HA HA and MUTUAL APPRECIATION. We filmed him at the Rotterdam Film Festival being interviewed by US producer Houston King.

The bleakness of Rotterdam was enlivened by an impromptu interview with Andrew Bujalksi, the US director of Diffusion's first two film releases.

We persuaded his producer and US distributor, Houston King, to put the questions while we held the camera. You will be able to see the results on this page soon, once we've edited.

Bujalski and King then headed off to Amsterdam where they were interviewed by the Times - look out for the article in March.

FUNNY HA HA is released on March 16th and MUTUAL APPRECIATION on May 4th.
